Very important!

In mid-October, for the first time, we independently isolated the first batch of AstroMelanin from our own raw materials.

As you all remember, in April we received a strain of the black yeast Nadsoniella Nigra, which was isolated by E.L.Ruban in 1957 from a sample taken on the Antarctic island of Heswell during the 2nd Antarctic Expedition (1956 - 1957). It was with this strain that Svetlana P. Lyakh worked for more than 20 years, and from it the preparation AstroMelanin with its remarkable properties was obtained.

The most important thing here is that the first time we managed to find the necessary parameters for extracting melanin from the final yeast mass, which we have been grewing for 3 months, since there are several methods of extracting. And from the very first time we managed to do exactly what was needed. This greatly shortens the time frame for our research work.

On October 20, an EMR study was carried out to determine the antioxidant activity of various melanin samples, including our own. And these results turned out to be just cosmic for us!

We produced our own first batch of the drug from scratch, and its study showed the highest antioxidant activity, which is comparable to the data from the works of Svetlana P. Lyakh.

The antioxidant activity in our sample is much higher than in the sample we received from her son for our study.

The next step is to test our sample against other melanins for anti-cancer activity. This will be precisely the work with different types of cancer cells.
